Probably opened a little too soon (my guess). I just had a glass of the 2019, which is delicious, accessible and expansive on the palate. This is pleasant enough on the nose, but is tightly coiled on the palate and showing a lot of acidity right now.

Gorgeous Macon right here. There's something so purely mineral to the nose, it's hard to put my finger on it... oyster shells, petrichor, alpine stream... citrus and yellow apples, as well as nut flours, cream and white flowers. Tight and dense on the palate, incredible minerality, sneaky texture and ripeness, gorgeous salty and stony finish. This will improve for at least a few years, and will be worth following many years beyond

This was a revelation. Took about 20 min to open up but it was one of those situations where a wine just sings and you sit there sniffing the glass after the bottle is gone. Perfect stage of development, ripe candied lemon, a touch of something more exotic plus just in the background an umami flavor that both balanced and elevated the fruit. I haven’t had a wine that did this since a 2012 Camille Giroud about a year ago. …

Light gold. A: ripe apple, pineapple, toast, citrus. F: Rich, full, ripe and creamy fruit and some new oak at first, followed by lemon curd and a medium acid medium length finish. Would want to wait for the Oak to mellow, but faded considerably on the second day. YMMV.

Droit, frais et avec une belle tension. Du très beau chardo.

Couleur jaune doré pâle. Au nez, on perçoit des arômes délicats de fleurs, d’herbes séchées et de pomme. En bouche, frais, fluide, belle acidité avec une salinité qui fait saliver. Une petite amertume présente. Mais manque de corps et de précision.

Light gold color. Shows a depth of intense pungent dominating minerality above all else along with tart apple, lemon and light herbal flavors. Feels dryer than most chardonnays. Paired extremely well with grab stuffed sole. 13% Alc. 90+ Couldn't decide if I loved it or not but I'll likely try another one soon. Excellent value on old school white Burg drinking more at Cote Beaune 1er cru level. Think this is made very "naturally".

Medium golden. Bright, well balanced, a touch of richness, good minerality.

2015 vintage

Le vin a une robe jaune soutenu, légèrement foncé. Le nez est très expressif, avec un beau fruit. Après aération, c'est vrai que les agrumes laissent place à une note qui pour moi évoque l'abricot ; avec une belle acidité au palais, c'est un vrai plaisir à déguster à table.

2009 vintage

Light straw colour. Fresh citrus fruits, green apples and minerals on the nose and palate. Nice acidity. More reminiscent of a Chablis than a white from central Burgundy. Slender, uncomplicated and a little short. Nothing spectacular, but very good value. Addition to note: A few hours of air exposure subdued the initial citrus flavours, and the fruit sweetened somewhat (yellow apples and plums).
