Yup it was good. Not as soaring as the 10, livelier than the 11. More smoothed out on the palate than I was expecting. Great w spicy Szechuan

Off-dry-light sweet balanced by crisp acidity. Pear, mango, lychee with lime. Excellent after-dinner sipper or for a contemplative moment.

Bright, light straw. High-toned, perfumed, and classy nose with notes of peach, apricot, crushed rock, and a slight botrytis-derived spice. Ripe stone fruit and detectable residual sugar is framed by crisp acidity. The 2013 Anrecht offers early pleasure but should improve for many, many years.

Tasted blind. Medium lemon with gold hues. The nose is clean, with peach, pear, grapefruit, wet stone and an interesting breadyness. The palate is off dry, but with excellent contrast between the residual sugar and the high acidity. The alcohol is low at 8.8%. The nose and the flavor intensity are medium plus. The finish is clean and crisp yet creamy. It is drinking well now, but has potential for ageing thanks to its acidity and depth.

Tasted Blind A: Medium lemon-green N:Medium (+) intensity. Pear and apricot (primaries) and when first poured a huge amount of kerosene (tertiary-bottle age) P: Medium (+) intensity. Aromas as on the nose with addition of pronounced honey and a more stewed (not dried) apricot and apples. Long finish This seemed medium dry, m+ acid and body and low alcohol. C: Drink now or age. A wine of outstanding quality.

On the nose there is a huge heaping of musky, over-ripe fruits. Like juicy musk melon at its peak or yellow stone fruits left to ripen a day too long. Not enough to be offputting, but its the dominant aroma. On the palate the flavor is continued albeit not as prominent as on the nose. Mild sweetness, overall a nice wine but you have to like the musky nose here.

Drank over 3 days. Taste surprisingly stable over that period. I echo comments made by other reviewers here. Clearly on the sweeter side, but this is a beautiful wine. As noted by another reviewer... "Painfully young, but with great future. Excellent. 93-94+"

Bright straw. High-toned nose of peach, apricot, and white flower, with only a subtle hint of botrytis despite the vintage. Ripe stone fruit and noticeable sugar is balanced by excellent acidity. A bit compact on the palate contrasts a spicy finish of considerable length. This is young and will age nicely.

Very light hay in colour; has a strong nose of sweet green apples with a hint of apricots. On the palate, has some nice notes of stony sweet yellow fruits with a touch of tangy and tarty saline; medium finish.

Floral with notes of tropical and ripe stone fruit - quite complex nose, really pretty. On the palate good acidity, nice expression of fruit, round and rich and long. Excellent. 92-93+

This wine presented more color than the kabinett. It had more twinges of green as opposed to the almost clear kabinett. There was a touch of petrol on the nose. It shared lots of characteristics with the kabinett, although they were a bit punchier. I picked up some green apple, lime, minerality, and some floral notes. A nice long finish. The wine medium-sweet. Not as large of a step-up from the kabinett as I expected. I thought it could use …

Slight botrytis character, relatively low in acidity. Very round, lush, fine and sweet. Ripe, pure fruit, spicy and very long. There is enough freshness to keep a lovely balance. Painfully young, but with great future. Excellent. 93-94+
