What an interesting wine. Lots of heavy sediment. Rich Port-like flavors with cinnamon in the mix. Velvety texture with warm tones of earth, raisin, dark fruit, and some heat. The oldest Barbera I have had and surprisingly good balance. At its peak. Enjoyable.
