not tanninic, very fruity did not taste alc heat, and it is good thing given this wine has 15% alch. Everyone liked it

Full-throttle Malbec, and a very good one at that. Nothing subtle about this one.

Lots of tannins. Better after a 2 hour decant.

Needs a lot of air to allow some of the heavy French oak aromas to recede. Almost butterscotch-like initially. Plenty of fruit, but surprisingly very tannic, something I haven't experienced in many other Malbecs from Mendoza. A good wine, but one that I'd like to revisit with bottle age to see if a more well-rounded wine developer. Put a couple bottles in the cellar and revisit in 2019-2021+ as an experiment.

A big lush Malbec that pairs nicely with a grilled steak.

Very intense and concentrated. Better balance than the 2010 but wow this wine needs a big hunk of beef to stand up to lush fruit and long finish.
