Les Champs de l'Abbaye Bourgogne Passetoutgrains

a bit of old world funk on nose, but strangely tart. bordered on sweet tart-like.

A light, slightly opaque red. Some barn on the nose, red fruits, some earth and minerality. Rather thin and angular, a bit tart, cranberry notes, decent structure and finish. Hoped would flesh out with some time in the glass, but not much. Very old world in style. Right now its tight, perhaps some time in the bottle would help, perhaps its just a lean bottling.
