Wow this is really young. Extra brut, too. All about minerals, zest and brightness. Acid, super crunchy, a bit of quinine bitterness. Could have been better (or different) with a touch more dosage. Better on day 2, for sure. Keep this around for a while and give the boy some air! Fascinating stuff from Mawby, as always with the Sandpainting series.

Just to reiterate, this is a brut rosé. More minerally and tense than the relative openness of Mawby's other wines. Very refreshing and thirst quenching, but more about balanced yet prominent acid than fruit right now. If you managed to keep one of these--leave it the hell alone for a few years.

Crystalline salmon pink. A little tight/reticent at the moment. Mineral, cranberry/watermelon. Keep this one for a bit. Very elegant and promising.

Salmon pink in color. Could use more time to integrate, but this was delicious with Thanksgiving dinner...

A nice brut rose with a pretty salmon color. Fresh strawberries, a little straw, a slight mineral note, bracing acidity. This has a really nice potential, but is super young and not developed yet. Needs time. I need to grab another to put away for a while.
