The second wine from Château Mire l'Étang, its entry level red, made in the same way as the Cuvée Tradition but from different parcels and with higher yields; G/S/M, 14% ABV, unoaked. Lovely expression of ripe fruit and garrigue on the nose; nice freshness on the palate in spite of the alcohol, clean and transparent, gentle tannins; nicely peppery finish. An attractive, summery red, well-made, fro drinking young. Good QPR at € 5.99.
