Loved this. The wine is certainly at peak and will probably not improve further. 50/50 Barbera/Merlot. Interesting blend. The wine is soft and juicy with very soft tannins, medium acidity, medium body. Baked cherry, earth, and herbal tea notes. Hint of eucalyptus.

SLDS April 2017 : Blind. A little cloudy coloured. Herbal, violet, graphite, smoke and quite woody. This has some of the same soft fruit as the previous wine, but there is also more structure and body to it. Decent length and moderate depth, this has some interest beyond its region rarely seen in my market.
