Soft blue fruit, nicely balanced. No sed. Resolved tannins. Best right out of the bottle. Paired with grilled steak dinner. Held up well. Appreciated and enjoyed tonight. Enjoy CF more in a blend.

Revisited this with some burgers on the patio. Some bottles contributed by David for a tasting we held a couple years ago. PnP, drank over 2 hours. Medium/Dark garnet color. Nose of dark fruits, sagebrush. Palate was plush and rounded, showing cherry, dark fruits and spices. Medium weight and finish. Drinking well now, getting past my bias (unfair) against CA Cab Franc. Concentrated fruit and soft velvety mouthfeel. This has nice balance, not an alcoholic fruit bomb, and lingering finish.

Fragrant, with rich layers of berry fruit and nice balance. Very enjoyable.

At the David Arthur tasting we hosted. Opened and poured about an hour before it was drank I typically don't care for Calif Cab Franc. This had a nice expressive nose of dark fruits and herbs. Medium mouthfeel and finish. Drinks well now

Nice example of Cabernet Franc. I prefer as a part of a blend.

This was the surprise of the evening of drinking blind Bordeaux grapes varietal wines. Of the 6 bottles, all were cab sauvignon based except this. When I originally opened this bottle, it was young and developing. Two hours later it was full and complex with blue fruit, graphite and eucalyptus notes. Lots of potential here.

Drinking well. Tannins are mostly resolved. Nice bouquet. I will wait until 2012 to drink my other bottle. Decant one hour.

Tasted at winery – no formal note taken. Barrel sample of "ten acre" block. Very good. 88-90+
