There appears to be something about this wine that appears unpalatable to some people. Whatever it is I’m not sensitive to it. Fruity spicy and unusually fresh on the nose, medium bodied with grippy tannins it has sufficient force to carry through food (roast lamb for example) without getting lost. Not one to savour for hours, but a good value and quality table wine. Would buy again, perfect for dinner with friends.

Very dark. Dark fruit nose. Silky, large scaled, nuanced. Candidate for aging 4 to 6 years.

When first poured, there was an unpleasant funk both on the nose and the palate. Set aside on the counter for an hour and served with ribeye, this wine hit it’s stride. Blackberry and spice with a bit of spritz. Not as good as the other La Cinso but enjoyable none the less.

Fruity nose (blackberry, ripe plum, redcurrant), overly-intense peppery palate. If you want to gulp down a whole bottle of wine with three other people, you should keep on searching. This is one of those wines that you take two sips of and say "nice experience, can I get a lager?" Don't get me wrong, it's well-balanced and represents Cinsault and its birthplace quite nicely, it's just that Cinsault is not an overly adorable grape variety.
