La Staffa Mai Sentito!

Wine Tasting in Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi (Montecarotta, Staffolo, Jesi) : Tasted at the winery with Riccardo. Petnat from 80% Verdicchio and 20% Trebbiano. Mai sentito translates to “never heard of” as this was a new type of wine for the region. Ricardo was inspired by drinking Lambrusco with his wine making friends. Very light and refreshing with a distinctive salinity on the finish due to the high concentration of calcium carbonate in the soil.
