Profound intensity of nose. It is quite complex and very tasty.we were worried if it may have passed the peak. On the contrary, it felt fresh as well as complex.

Deep lemon yellow in the glass. Lots of pleasant aromatics ranging from stone fruit which is in focus, to some green apple, pear and pineapple. Not your bland and boring Pinot Grigio, has some weight and structure, with a creamy, satisfying texture. Medium finish. Will lead you into more serious wines gracefully. Top value for money.

Straits Wines - “The Sommelier” Blind Challenge - Round 1 (Straits Wines @ UE Square) : Pale gold with thick legs. Aromas of white peach, nectarine, and a bit of orange peel, walnut, and hay. Dry, quite some acids and significant heat from the alcohol. Flavours of nectarine, grass, bread yeast, stony gravel, and some bitter almond at the back

Italian Wine Scholar Class at the Texas Wine School. This Pinot Grigio has an above-average QPR, thanks to hillside vineyard locations in the Collio. Medium yellow in color, with a slight brass hue. Beautiful nose of golden apple, pear, white acacia flowers, melon, field herbs, lime and some wet stone. Six months of aging on the lees. No oak. The palate is dry but fruit-forward, consistent with the nose. The acidity is medium (+), providing a nice streak of freshness. …

This Pinot Grigio from the Collio Goriziano region of Italy is golden yellow in color. It has a medium body with aromas and flavors of citrus, melons and pineapple along with crisp acidity. Finishes unusually long for a Pinot Grigio.

Could be a bad bottle, but it didn't really seem flawed in way I could recognize. I found this pinot grigio to be almost sherry-like and nutty, with lots of salinity and little butter. No real discernible fruit.
