(15/20) Nice find, a Shiraz from the Canberra District in Australia. This has some age already, but enough freshness still as well. Peppery and floral style, quite oaky, lacks a bit of power. Medium+ intense aromas of black cherry, blackcurrant, red plum, dried violet, balsamic, cigar box, leather, black pepper, liquorice wood, smoke. Dry wine, medium+ acidity, medium and supple tannins, full body, medium+ flavour intensity, medium+ length finish. 13,5% ABV - Wine exchange Morteza Afshar

Monthly Tasting Group HWS #146; Australian Shiraz (By JZ) : In the bouquet some rustic flavors, metal, leather and flint stone. On the palate chocolate, red and dark berries, bacon, good and fresh acidity and some elegance. Not a great length.

Lovely style - but missing complexity
