We pnp'd at dinner. The nose was dark cherry. The palate was dark cherry, a touch of cedar, and hints of baked apple. The finish was moderate. Drinking well at 12 years old.

Ruby with a little oranging. Poured into decanter. Thin fingers. Cherries, blueberries, hint of cedar and mushroom on the nose. Still a tangy fruit forward taste. Cherries, cranberries, cedar, mushrooms, salted caramel. Not much left of the tennis. Probably at peak. But not bad at all.

In contrast to the previous bottle, this was a bit harsh. Acidic, not much fruit. More like the way I remember earlier bottles.

Much better after a few years in bottle. When it was younger it was quite rough and unlikeable. Now it has mellowed out and is surprisingly pleasant, with a decent balance.

This is now 10-years old, and was surprisingly good on opening and for the first several hours after. Visually, this is taking on an orange cast. On the palate, there is mushrooms, subtle fruits, some hints of tannin, and then, as the wine gets air, some stem. This wine has gotten consistently better as it aged, but I think it is now at its peak.

Dark, murky in glass. Barnyard nose, smooth, almost sweet fruit blends with barnyard on palate

Tart acidity that fades a bit with air. This could probably stand to age a bit. Classic CA pinot character-- very drinkable and satisfying.

Opened 30 minutes prior to pairing with Pasta Alla Mama with chicken. A medium ruby in the glass, a very attractive nose of red currant, rhubarb, cherries, white pepper and a touch of earth. Barely medium-bodied on the palate, but with excellent acidity and a perfect match for the subtle flavors of the Pasta Alla Mama; really perfect in both flavor and intensity! We've liked everything from Gloria Ferrer, and this was very satisfying!

I don't know what others are talking about in the comments, this is a fantastic rendition of a Sonoma Pinot.

Blind Pinot Noirs; 5/1/2014-5/2/2014 (Washington, DC) : Medium ruby-red currant color. Smells of soft cherries, fresh strawberries, all cool and clean, with notes of rhubarb and white pepper. On the palate, the acid is tart, the tannins are fine and the fruit tastes red and chilled. So fresh and balanced, and I love the way the tobacco and rhubarb mix with the light dose of toast and vanilla. A vibrant, food-friendly, effortless Pinot.

This bottle was much better than last, with red fruit on the nose, muted strawberry, cedar on the palate. Smooth with a nice, though short, finish.

Typical sonoma pinot noir. Was not bad, but not very memorable.

The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like mineral, mushroom and chocolate. It tastes like mushroom. The body is medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has high acidity.

This has aged well in the bottle. The balance is right on and the fruits are upfront with sour cherry and tart blackberry. A good wine for the price.

Last of 9 bottles. Good riddance - it was all down hill with each bottle, losing all of it's fruit and leaving a bitter shell remaining.

Similar to previous tastings. Acid and fruit at the front (sometimes too much acid), and a bit thin in the middle and back. Past its prime now.

Not as sharp on the nose as a bottle we drank a year ago, despite letting decant for 2 hours. Just average. Purchased @ Costco 2 years ago. Better paired with fine cheeses.

Pretty good value for a Pinot at this price point. Ruby color, cherry and berries on the nose and palate, nice smooth finish. Went well with our roast pork

The nose is a little funky/earthy with light cherry notes. The palate is more medium bodied than expected, and has a little tannins/acid. Initial attack is cherry notes, and the finish is medium in length with ongoing cherry with perhaps a little oak thrown in (vanilla). Not as many adjectives with respect to aromatics/flavours on palate as last review, but this is what i get. Not getting any cherry cola...For 24$ i guess this has a decent QPR.

This is my second 07, and I think it is 8-10 months away from peak. Has great cherry cola flavors, with some strawberry, wet earth and mint. the 06 was great and I believe this will get there as well.

My first 07 of this and does not dissapoint. Pretty nose of bright red fruit and a note of cinnamon and white pepper. On the palate has great weight for a Pinot and a silky texture. Cherries for days. $14.99 is a steal for this if you can find it, very limited.

I had this wonderful wine with kung pow scallops which was a wonderful pairing. This wine was very smooth and has strawberry overtones in both the nose and taste.
