Been 18 months or so since I last had this wine. This is absolutely singing. Amazingly complex and balanced to near perfection. A touch of sweetness. Mineral. Linear and focused. Light golden in colour. Touch of spice. Touch of pepper. Picks up a very mild tropical fruit profile on the back of the palate. I am blown away by this bottle today. So much energy and density but with a real refinement and elegance. Total banger.

Takes a bit of time to open up and better slightly warmer than fridge temperature. In a perfect drinking window now. In terms of tasting notes very similar to PC below.

2011 grivault meursault 1er perrieres Golden pale colour. Flinty and gunsmoke on the nose. Smoky. Laser focused and linear on the palate. Savoury, sour fruits (in a good way), but with a touch of honey. Apricot kernal. Touch of spice, white pepper. Really long finish with a core of acidity. Rounded and a delicious balance. This is a serious white burgundy and really impressed.
