C: greenish gold. Slow legs. N: petroleum, old barn, M: High acidity, Yellow apples. light/med body. Medium finish. Very enjoyable, this bottle could probably be kept for a while.

Fun to drink wine with some age, but this will never be more than a simple wine. Drink within two years

Riesling from 2008 with a lovely price. But the price is right. This is just decent QPR. Ok wine but lacks complexity, and for me, elegance.

Color: golden, green. Slow legs. Nose: sherry, earth. Palate: medium acidity, dry, sherry. Nice, might open up after a day, might be past peak maturity. Day 2: some terpentine on the nose. Otherwise no change.

Day one: Slightly dissapointing, fruit too faded although the acidity was still quite lively. Day two: Very different and much better. Fruit has woken up from the dead, also there's saffron and a few other interesting nuances that I cannot identify. With room temperature there's very distinct passion fruit and tangerine characters. Very enjoyable on day 2.

Coravin. Glass 1. Nice mature riesling nose but a little flat and thin taste. Was probably better 5 years ago. 86p?
