Brought to drink at Oinoscent during service. Bottle opened and tasted, no decant -/- The wine shows bright, yellow color. In the nose, the wine shows high intensity, shows depth and ripe fruit core, dried fruit, apricot, citrus, nectarine, floral notes next to mineral ones. The nutty notes are there, waxy notes, northern Rhone-like glycerin notes, a few herbal tea/chamomile notes too. In the palate, the wine shows high intensity, the oak is more upfront here but not working against …

Nice strong nose of honey and pear. A nice entry and fairly weighty mouth. Nice tart acidity. Perhaps on the downhill side. Very tasty but lacking a bit of vibrancy. I think this is just age. Score reflects wine likely at its prime.

Fabulous: Honeyed nose. Intense on palate - more honey, minerality, ripe ripe stone fruit flavours, then big slug of acidity and finishes dry. Really delicious and stands up brilliantly to Indian/Thai food.

Golden color; white fruit, salinity, but also a roundedness and richness on the nose; palate is dry, medium-full bldied, white fruit but also creamy, almost slight yeast; finish is medium length. Good overall. 88

Wonderfully complex and food friendly. Lots of acidity and plenty of minerals. Great pair with the iconic roast chicken dish at NoMad restaurant.

Weird and wonderful, huge and funky, still young and needed two hours to breathe. Big, rich, bone dry but very very wild. Not your standard Vouvray.
