Brilliant dark purple color; absolutely amazing, classic ps nose with spice, damson plums, a hint of vanilla, and chocolate - as another reviewer said, it's great to just sniff; delicious as well - very soft, a touch sweet, and a juicy blast of fruit and chocolate. Very light tannins, and it fades a bit quickly. Extra points for the nose. This would surely be a wallet-friendly, easy drinking crowd pleaser for a barbecue. Superb as a pop and pour.

Excellent wine for the money. Fruity, with enough complexity to make it interesting.

Oaky, with a chalky texture, sweet finish...consistent with previous bottles.

Good Petite Sirah with nothing objectionable, but also nothing that really stands out. Just drinkable goodness which makes for an excellent QPR.

I've had $30 - $40 wines that taste this good. Having said that....those wines also have had too much residual sugar, just like this wine does. Still there is value here for the money ($10). This is a good weekday wine with pizza.

Inky purple, almost black. Completely opaque in the depth of the bowl but radiant garnet on the rim. Silky, velvety mouthfeel. Sticks to the edge of the glass like glycerine. Great tannic structure but not overpowering. Good balance of brambly blackcurrant and oak. QPR.

Rich butterscotch, some light raisins, and fruitiness comes through.

Deep color, blackberry and strawberry aromas, clean and smooth on the finish with good acidity and mild tannin. For the price of less than $10., it's a good one-dimensional wine that pairs well with daily meals.
