Strength of vintage, producer, and vineyard all show up in this wine - still going strong at 8 years. Nose gooseberry, chives, grass, and stony minerals. Palate so incredibly balanced - acid, mineral, all supporting a gorgeous fruit. Very long finish with considerable mineral.

Cherry Picked France (St. Genevieve) : I am not a big SB fan, but this had nice racy acidity and crisp minerality. A touch of grapefruit and tart apple. I enjoyed this.

Balanced, smooth, nice fruit. A good Garagiste QPR at around $20. Bit of grass, easy to enjoy. Greenish/golden hue, SB citrus and mellow acidity. Table enjoyed this. Enjoy now.

This Sancerre is maturing marvelously. The nose is now open and expressive. The palate offers a luscious juxtaposition of bright fruits with fascinating minerality. The finish is sophisticated and suave.

This was more of a yellow gold and was not that expressive on the nose. Not so vibrant on the palate but with a nice ripe gooseberry and apple fruit. Maybe fading a tad? Not as fresh as a bottle a year ago.

So delicious, consumed over 2 days, and stood up well both days. Nose of grapefruit, white pepper, and chalky soil. Palate gives an echo of the nose, and shows off energetic acidity and a brilliant peppery-citrus finish. Delicious now, and likely for another year or two. Yum.

Yellow straw color. Some citrus notes - matched by good acidity. Consistent through a 2 hour drinking window. Nice Sancerre - especially for the price.

Light, lime, grass, lemon, and a very nicely balanced Sancerre. Served with garlic chicken in cream sauce. Superb pairing that cut right through the heavy sauce.

Enjoyed this bottle over several nights. I love what happens with Sauv Blanc in the Loire, specifically in Sancerre. Beautiful acidity, crisp and energetic grapefruit flavors mixed with grass, and somehow adding a touch of honey on top of it all. Interesting, thirst-quenching, delicious, and all for around $20. This is why I love wine. This would be a case-buy for me in the future. Drink now through 2017+.

Very interesting and correct Sancerre. Seems more aggressive and New World than normal, with lots of grassy, gooseberry and nettles on the nose. Nicely crisp with a long tasty finish of apple and lime. Very delicious on a 92% Seattle day....

This is delicious stuff, a reeled-in, correct Sancerre that shows the freshness, energy, zing, and fruit that SB can reach in the right climate. Fresh hay, grapefruit zest, mineral/chalk notes, and a hint of drizzled honey. A lively grapefruit-driven finish that is so good on a hot summer day. Delicious to drink now, through 2019+. What a value at $22, I'll do this all day long.

Youthful and fresh with a lime peel and curd nose. Faintly yellow in color. Flavors of lemon, stone, molasses and just a hint of fresh cut hay. Not sure there is any reason to sit on this. A good value, not a screaming value but for a few bucks more than a mass produced Kiwi SauviB, this is an interesting and worthwhile upgrade.
