Fougeray de Beauclair Pays d'Hérault Bajanas Val Grieux

I guess there is some bottle variation here - this had none of the stewed fruit character of the previous bottle (maybe that one was slightly heat damaged?) and actually had some noticeable acids to provide some lift. Drinks like a decent CdR, and was a decent weeknight pizza wine. Wonder what the cepage is in this?

This has somehow become less elegant over time - compared to a bottle from last year, this is showing much heavier on the roasted,stewed fruit side - perhaps the vintage character is finally (unfortunately) showing through. Don't see much of a future for this wine - drink up.
