Pop and pour and served in a rowboat on a warm summer evening. Good bright color; the nose is a bit muted perhaps from being chilled. Refreshing watermelon and strawberry flavor with a sprinkle of lemon. No rough edges. A simple beverage that matches nicely with a Summer evening.

(13%) 100% Negroamaro – A little "too" bright pink in color on pour this one is forward and candied with nice fruit. It goes off dry as it shows some sweetness on the palate. From there it turns slightly crisp on the finish with tart, leafy red fruit notes. I prefer my roses bone dry and with a touch more acidity. Deep ruby color, strawberry notes, medium bodied... a solid rose somewhere between old and new world in style.

Nothing special.

Not as bad as the previous review, but not good. Probably the darkest rose I've ever had. A nice strawberry aroma. A bit too alcoholic, little on the mid palate and a stringent finish.

Worst Rose Ive had in awhile. Very dark and big for Rose which is fine, but when you get more red wine like and the wine is made poorly it just gets amplified. Heavy, poor fruit and just a bitter finish. This one couldnt even be salvaged by cooling to the almost freezing point and a 90 degree day. I tried it because Ive never had the varietal before, hopefully someone is making something out of this grape with more …
