Only slight signs of ageing, still vibrant light garnet. Nose is classically Hunter- faint earth, boysenberry, red fruits. Subtle, certainly not overripe. Medium bodied, lifted, slightly sweet fruit, fine tannin, balanced and subtle. Long, clean finish, this is drinking really nicely now but should keep improving for another 5 years.

Medium red colour but a little dense. Clean and simple nose but with a slightly odd mature plum character. Good body and mouthfeel with a long dry, slightly chalky tannin finish and with a strange green stalky nature. Not unpleasant but not what I expected from previous openings. Maybe a suspect bottle? Interesting to compare to my next bottle.

Medium bright red colour showing a slight age tinge. Firm spicy and peppery nose. Light spicy shiraz fruit but with a smooth long and soft tannin finish. Good match with simple BBQ rissoles under COVID-19 isolation.

FULL CIRCLE BEVCON 2017 SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE FOCUS, 2014 according to the rep was the best vintage in memory, nose of raspberry, black berry, and licorice, same on the palate, big body, mouth filling fruit, lovely and rich fruit, the best shiraz I have ever had (?), needs 2 years to peak drinking window, and a medium/long finish which hurt the score.

Bright purple/red colour. Red spicy fruit on the nose. Soft and dry on the palate. Young easy drinking Hunter style red.
