Orange blossom on the nose. On the palate, orange blossom, peach, and notes of honey and herbs on the medium finish. The powerful peach and orange blossom notes combined with light sweetness reminded me of Viogner. The peppery notes that were here a few years ago have disappeared, and this seems to be fully integrated; it probably won't get better. Excellent value at a bit under $30.

Dry and aromatic, it both smells and tastes a bit like an orange tea. Not funky and not very complex either. Low alcohol and light phenolics makes it easy to drink, but also notably short on the finish. Refreshing, if somewhat shallow.

When opened, it was total funktown. When first sipped, it was mildly cidery. It did evolve nicely though, and became quite complex: fruity at one moment, herbal the next, then floral … a lovely wine with our mixture of grilled fish and lobster.

Half and half zibibbo/albanello, one week on the skins. The 2013 SP68 Bianco has notably improved since a year ago, especially regarding balance and integration of the slightly bitter phenolics. Drinking perfectly well on its own or with cheese, we prefer to savour it as a late evening treat.

Peach and spring flowers on the nose. On the palate, apricot, rosewater, pear juice, and notes of white pepper, honey, and savory herbs on the medium finish. Excellent value for the money at under $30.

This displayed a wild and intriguing bouquet of wet concrete, smoke, young peach, kiwi, and hints of yellow flowers. On the palate, it was a bit short yet wonderfully fresh as peach turned to grapefruit, then to masses of inner floral tones with a hint of bitterness contrasting it's brisk acidity. It finished with a tart acid tug on the mid-palate, as hint of citrus lingered long, long, long. The SP68 Bianco continued to grow on me the longer it …

Really interesting wine. Floral notes on the nose, and initially some hints of sulphur that quickly disappeared. Good structure throughout the palate, with restrained fruit, finishing very dry. The fruit was almost under-ripe with no hint of sweetness at all. A very interesting style of wine which will not appeal to everyone. I really enjoyed it though, as did my companions. A great find.

Interesting wine with ash and savory tones defining the character more than the fruit.

Slow-ox'd 2 hrs -translucent med gold -crazy exotic nose with burnt honey, white pepper, orange marmalade, oily Gewürztraminer-like spice -lower acidity and med+ weight gives it an unctuous almost flabby feel, floral/spicy -really unique

50% Albana 50% Muscat d'Alexandrie 12% alc.

My first experience with this wine - intense floral nose, aromas of elderflower and honeysuckle. Dry, slightly reductive in the mouth. Refreshing yet complex, notes of earth, flint and minerals. A really lovely wine that I think would pair well with many dishes or can be enjoyed on it own.

This is a blend of Albanello (native to the island) and Zibibo (aka Muscat de Alexandria). Beautiful aromatics of citrus blossoms, honeycomb, tropical & stone fruits. Acidity pops on the mid palate but fades a bit on the finish. Good wine.

On the nose, apricot and geranium. On the palate, pear, apricot, pear, roses, and a touch of white pepper on the medium finish, with moderate acidity and an unctuous texture. This reminds me of Viognier more than Muscat, which I usually think of as being thinner and more citrusy. It's strong, fat, and rich, and makes a nice change from more restrained white wines. Very good value for the money.

Awesome. Floral - lavender, fresh wildflowers, a bit of grassy herbs. you can smell it from a couple feet away, yet there's nothing pungent or intense, and the aroma balances out with the light-bodied palate. ethereal. the herby/grassy notes get more pronounced as it's open longer. perfectly accented figs, balsamic, blue cheese & heirloom tomato salad. At $26 it's a steal within its category. I don't know who's scoring this in the 80's on CT, or what wine they're drinking... …

Deep yellow. Lower pitched on the nose and palate but still a touch of perfume and florality. Deep and creamy but somewhat neutral flavors.

Floral & herbal nose. Orange blossom, bergamotte, quince, lavender, tea, ale. Dry wine with medium acidity, medium- alcohol, and a slightly bitter phenolic finish that sort of gets to you while drinking. Not great, but nice. Better with every sip. Beware of too low temperatures.

VinItaly Day 2- Natural Wine Section Building 12 (Verona, Italy) : Slight gold in the color; very Muscat nose, golden, a little yeasty beer note, mint, super floral; rich mouthfeel, almost tannic, dry, obvious skin contact; decent.
