Peller Estates, Signature Series Cabernet Franc, Four Mile Creek

Better than I had expected given the age. I expect it was past its prime, the wine was a light red colour and had little bouquet, the flavour was not in your face fruit but was mellow smooth and subdued subtle. I wish I had gotten to this bottle earlier.

Half way down the back side - raisens, funk, not particuarly pleasureable. Waited too long.

Done, dead, way past its prime (whatever that might have been). Appropriate that I opened on Halloween - it was scary bad.

Though consumed almost a year after its suggested year, I was still expecting this bottle to have maintained some of the brilliance that one would expect from a premium priced wine.
