Decanted. Initially quite rubbery and reductive then after about an hour it started to show a little black cherry, blackberry and ripe plum. This was ably supported by vanilla, cream and chocolate. On the palate it's quite thickly, almost treacly, dense, similar flavours to the nose, soft tannins grip at the tongue. Simple. Still quite primary under screwcap <shrugs>
