A lot of body in this wine for the price. Not the best Malbec from Argentina, but a value.

Popped and poured, wow, a bit rough. Left it for about an hour in the glass, tasted better. Drinkable. Have corked it again and will revisit tomorrow

This puppy is pretty tannic. Maybe it just needs some time in the cellar. I am not very familiar with Malbec so I have to rely on other, more experienced palates for guidellines. Seems as if I am better off with the Kaiken Malbec, which was definitely more drinkable.

YUCK! I drank one glass, and could not do another. I decanted, let sit out, you name it. NO HELP! Not worth the $8 I spent, would rather had bought good cheese! Dumped our half of the bottle.

Upon opening this wine smelled slightly hot (It was). Alcohol blew off the nose pretty quickly, but it stuck around on the finish. There were some nice plum and cherry flavors here, but this youngster just isn't ready yet. We put half the bottle in the fridge overnight, and it is better on day 2.

I have always liked Norton Malbec as a good cheap everyday wine. I do agree with others that a day in the fridge after opening helps it mellow. Better on day two.

Whew. Not very enjoyable. Mellowed out on day two, but not enough body to balance the tannins at all.

Yuk. Two sips was all I could take. Could probably work for cooking or cleaning tires.
