I called Four Roses blind. Knowing nothing about this particular blend I’d guess it has some F recipe and high rye, but neither is correct (V and K yeasts and no B grain bill). Minty fresh herb, cinnamon spice, dried flowers, some toasted seedy rye and just a bit of dark fruit and banana. Sweet, and lovely to drink at bottle strength without water. With air (and eventually with water) it’s decidedly sweeter and fruitier, less herbal. 93-94

Great stuff. Got to taste this from a fresh bottle at one of my favorite bars after many failed attempts of finding a bottle in the wild. On the nose, you're greeted with a smooth vanilla and spice. On the palate, it's lush and creamy and gives off a hint of peanuts, spice, vanilla, and caramel. It finishes long and keeps you going back for more.

Beyond tasty. Beyond smooth. This balanced, almost feminine expression, of four roses is a real treat. The mint is subtle, much more so than was the much bolder OBSF recipe.
