Meaty and earthy on the front end and stays pretty hearty throughout. Fruit/acidity hits on the finish. Pretty well rounded and seems like it’s got plenty of life in it. Nose has an earthiness to it as well. Solid overall.

Followed over three days. Intensely meaty and savory, right from the get go. This shows heavy reduction in the form of medicinal/ tarry notes and a cool menthol over tone that blew off after a few hours of air to reveal tart dark cherry fruit that is earthy and pure, with a crisp and snappy personality. This does show a touch woodsy and sauvage. Nice pure finish. Good with upside potential to be Very Good. Hold to 2019 at least
