great QPR - right amount of tartness balance by the sweetness of tropical fruits

Initially lots of tropical fruit and gooseberries ... maybe a little too much. But more citrus and apple after some time open. Better with food. We paired with our Italian pasta with eggplant, oliver, capers, garlic, tomato sauce with basis and shrimp. It was best with the food and got a bit more mineral on the finish then, too.

Displays many of the characteristics of a NZ sauv blanc. Would put this one at the higher end of those wines. More flavorful than the pack, but very identifiable as a NZ white.

Very nice indeed. Just 'discovered' this one, and it will replace the Babich as my house SB. Good QPR

One of my favorite NZ SBs. Just the right balance of tropical fruit, acidity and tartness. Great wine.

Grass and grapefruit on the nose - Lots of lime and grapefruit, some lemon and tropical fruit as well. Clean and well-balanced. This is a terrific value.

Tremendously fruity SB. Not teribly crisp or tart. Loads of tropical fruit and lychee with a little grapefruit and citrus. Delicious and full flavored.

Forward nose of citrus and apple. Taste of tart granny apples and complex citrus finishing with a hint of grass. Well defined and sharp acidity which makes the palate and finish sharp and crisp. Terrific balance. This is a wine I really enjoyed and one of the best NZ Sauvigon Blancs I've had in a while.
