2015 jetzt trinken. Nase Süsskirsche und Veilchen. Fast zart. Am Gaumen jedoch ist ordentlich was los. Schokolade, Kirsche, Blaubeere, Tabak, mittlere Säure und bereits gut integrierte Tannine. Mittellang. Schöner Wein.

Excellent. Only 2/6 bottles left. This is a very nice wine. Perfect with homemade pesto tonight.

Drinks beyond it's price, scents of flowers and red berries, full bodied, deep, flavors of dark berry, tobacco, cedar and spice, a wall of tannin holds this together tightly, juicy acidity, will cellar well, great steak match

With some sweetness in the mid palate. I guess thats the French barrique.

Nice, but undeveloped nose of deep, brooding black fruits, new wood and spice. Medium-full bodied with a tight palate, this has brightness as well as intensity. Somewhat tannic and in need of food or a few years inn bottle, this is a finesseful example of Tuscan Bordeaux varietals. Drink 2020-2026 90-91

Needed time in decanter. Lots of ripe black currrant and spice poking its head out from under the oak blanket. Med-full bodied and quite dense. Loaded with toasty oak, black currant fruit and spice. Great structure. Plenty of tannin and acidity. Delicious now with enough air, this should improve quite a bit over the next 2-3 years and reach age 10 in beautiful shape. 91+

Cab, Franc, Verdot. Grandfather was Ugo. Spicy, gutsy supertuscan.

Opened at 1pm to a nose bursting with refined cherry cough syrup. Decanted for 4-5 hours. Cherries softened into some cocoa, with the sweet tones developing into more savory notes of roasted game. Moist New England forest floor on the back palate. Our one and only bottle, but going to find another to put away for a few years. Opened '07 OPC to follow and it's simply out-classed. Not that these two should be compared. Two bottle smiley face.
