Fragrant earth, whet, funky-earth tones; this is a maroka Spring bottling namazake. 48% SMB. Lots going on here, complex, rich, some baby fat, decent lift, a bit sweet on the palate at +1. Mitama Nishiki rice. Sake Pub Gashue with Fumiaki Kako owner. Excellent. Had this also on 9/29 at Bakushuan Nihonbashi: fruity with umami, grilled pork notes, slightly sweet yet complex on the palate--almost slight tannic character; round, soft, pleasurable. 1.4 +1 16% 48% Saitama
