Galleano Winery Zinfandel Old Vines Barrel Select

Decanted 1 hr. ahead. Garnet color that trends brown toward the edge. Nice nose that combines oak, spice, and fruit in a balanced way. Medium-bodied on the palate, not fruit-led, which is a good sign. Spices come through ahead of raspberry and cherry. The finish is drying with some woody whiffs and low tannins. Very nice from an old-school producer.
