Dark Star Cellars Syrah

P/P which was a mistake; initially lean black currant with structure and cabernet-like tannins on the finish; more open on day two with added blackberry and pepper, but the structure still wins out; interesting.

blackberry; a bit sweet, but with very good acidity to make it work. A hint of eucalyptus; Light on its feet. Would not have guessed that this is a SoCal Syrah, but it is enjoyable.
