Fruity nose and palate of red raspberry, cranberry and spice. Nice full body and decent finish.

Medium ruby, tears, clear. Medium intensity, clean, developing with aromas of cream, vanilla, clove, cedar, concentrated red & black currant and berry fruit. Leather. In the mouth the wine is dry, medium acid, medium plus tannin, medium plus alcohol and body and medium flavour intensity with flavour of blackcurrant and sweet spice with an underpinning of chocolate. Despite all this complexity I'm a bit meh about this one.

Fruity, like most of the Zins I have tried. Easy enough to drink but not a lot to think about. You could do a lot worse for a party wine.

I really liked this. Not your typical jammy zin but plenty of dark fruit with a smooth finish.

Plum and licorice aroma leads to slightly acidic complex red Zin. Very drinkable and smooth finish.

Fruit-forward and smooth, not much heat. It's not a complex wine, but it's decently enjoyable. Prefer my zins to have a little more spice.

This light to medium bodied Zin is really well balanced. A little too on the acidic side but good bracing fruit informs this rounded mildly spicy wine. Not as big but better balance than the 06' Silver Oak.

Tasted blind. Overoaked with plenty of caramel and vanilla notes on the nose with jammy fruit. More milk caramel on the palate. Undrinkable. Yuck.

Very nice, big Zin - concentrated, almost syrupy, lush with ripe fruit up front, great licorice-anise flavors, and a drier, zingy finish. Moderate sweetness, moderate tannins and a bit more acidity, full body. Flavors of anise (or black licorice), black pepper, dark berry.
