Domaine Y. Clerget Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Perrières

Aged for 11 months in new oak barrels followed by 4 months in tanks after blending. There was some definitely reduction and all that comes with it. Got some greengage and persimmon at this stage, but that was only after a bit of time in the glass. Definitely going to be one where you will need to age to discover a wine of true character, though that can be said of most truly well-made Puligny-Montrachet.
