Yum. Bold and jammy. Drink now as it will not get better. Very forward on the nose and lingering on the back end (a little empty on the middle). Raisins, black currants, and oak.

out of magnum. aromas of ripe baked blue and red fruit with touches of autumn spice, tomato and smoke. clearly new world, but everything is nicely integrated with resolved tannins making it balanced and elegant, despite having low-mid acidity. good length. went very well with braised lamb shanks. ready to drink now, but would have held at least 5 years in that format.

A good balance of tannins and fruit. Worked well at a Thanksgiving meal, everyone enjoyed it.

Ripe raspberry and dirt (in a good way). Really carries a nice balance of the fruit and earth. As it breathes, that grilled meat quality that I get from good Syrahs emerges. Excellent wine.
