Waited too long, a little past it's prime. Still buttery, with scent of apricot with toasted oak and vanilla notes.

This was a really impressive wine that reminded me of a mini-Kistler. The explosive nose leaps from the glass with butterscotch, vanilla, pineapple, and other tropical fruits grabbing my attention. This full-bodied wine wraps the palate in a blanket of butterscotch, vanilla, toast, minerals, and pineapple, but there is a thread of citrusy acidity to give the wine some verve. Nose reminiscent of 1er Cru Burgundy, with rich lemon custard, creme brulee, hints of butter, jasmine and candied ginger Smooth and full on the palate, with great acid, especially on finish. Ground sweet almonds, hint of white pepper, candied ginger.
