Still blac/ red, glass staining, rim now red rather than purple. Strong vanilla and fruit on nose, smooth, fruit dominant, good length., beginning to dry on the finish Last bottle, but still has some years in it. No additional complexity, more of a straight line from juicy fruit to mellowness. Tannins evident on the teeth after a couple of glasses.

decanted for three hours then back into the (rinsed from fine sediment) bottle to take to restaurant. opaque purplish dark cherry in the glass with appreciable body. the nose has a mix of dark cherries, cassis and dark plums with lovely accents of eucalyptus, pepper, and chocolate and whiffs of smoke and dusty earth. full-feeling in the mouth, the fleshiness of the fruit peels in layers revealing all the accents from the nose with ease and seamlessness. the tannins are …

Bright and still largely purple if losing some intensity of colour. Damson, char, vanilla on the nose. Striking if not the most complex. Palate sleek and firm. Fine length. Good intensity. Really quite remarkable. Not especially evolved. My only concern is that I thought there would be more complexity at this stage, but this could keep and potentially improve for many years yet.

Much better than last tasting 4 years ago. Impressive nose of dark fruit with nice complexity. Similar on the palate. Fresh and balanced with nice secondary elements. Drinking very well now on short decant.

Very deep purple with blue inky tinge. Nose of blackberry/blueberry fruit, cinnamon and violets. More black fruit and a little spiciness on the palate with smooth ripe tannins and moderate acidity. Tobacco & black cherry finish.

This really is a delight. Beautifully balanced, fresh, full black fruit flavours and a decent finish. I paid £19 in 2013 and would be very happy to find similar today at £30.

Considering I'm not a big fan of Malbec, this wine was very impressive! Combined with 30% cab, its quite a mouthful. It has an intense alcoholic edge as it is both concentrated and well structured. Holding up well after a decade, it has reached it's peak but still boasts with layers of complexity. The pepper and spicy mouthfeel makes this wine a winner in my book and I'm glad I've got a few bottles left. Drink up though, it is …

As before. The Cab gives the wine some structure, although everything seems to be in the right place. Was going to buy some more recent vintages, although I gather the 2015 wasn't a great year for the region

My 7th bottle of this vintage and by far the best. Smooth dark fruits give way to cedar and even a touch of mint. Long.Lovely. Seems to be in its prime.

Black red, huge nose. Overwhelmed French bottles opened alongside it. Better on the second day when nuances became clear. Leaving last one to 2020.

A little quiet on the nose - but clean. Grippy tannin; closed with underlying rich plummy fruit trying to break through & rubbery leathery notes. May revise score after further breathing?

Opaque purple/blue colour that stains the glass. Still very unevolved, showing plenty of blueberry, blackberry, cassis, black licorice, vanilla, and violets on the nose and palate. Good minerality and structure. Quite lush. Moderate-length finish, ~35s. Compared to the 2005 Unus poured alongside, this wine is painfully young and needs several more years of cellaring to achieve better integration and texture. Drink 2016+

- Crimsom color and has flavours of blackberry - June 2013 still has this complex Malbec closed and shy. A hidden strength of body is hiding under the surface, but should come out in another year or so. A layer of cocoa slips thought soft tannins and lively acidity..

Tasted at Pappas Bros Steakhouse Eye: very deep purple color with red rim. Nose: blackberry, plums, cassis, cherries, smoke. Palate: moderate tannins, nice fruit but not too jammy, strong wine but alcohol is well balanced in the flavor, full body, long finish. very enjoyable and excellent QPR.

Black centre, purple red rim. Good tears, as you'd expect from 14.5%. Bursting with fruit, several layers, so should age well. Damson and plum, with black currant following. Aftertaste is vanilla and jam ! Tannin is there too. Young, but enjoyable.

While this wine is still young with bold fruit, it is supple and smooth with good structure. The 30% Cab component adds nice depth and finesse. Should continue to evolve over the next 3 to 5 years.

10/26/2012 at Nectarine, Buenos Aires. Extremely deep color, retaining a trace of purple. Very forthcoming nose of plums, cassis, and summer fruits, with a touch of chestnut-like complexity at the end. Moderate ripe tannins, presently submersed by the intensity of the fruit. Very long finish. Elegant balance, in a Bordeaux-like style. This wine defines the essence of a fine Argentine red blend, and is a privilege to drink. We have two older vintages at home, but I like this one …
