Crisp and lemon-lime citrusy. Reminiscent of a vinho verde. Still drinks fine, but will be better for summer than winter. Still very drinkable, despite noted 2011-12 window.

Very good - bright, sweet, and tart. Would be great with chinese or salty food. Really surprising and tasty - brightens up your tongue and mouth. Tasted at Vintage Cellar.

Good value, but sort of one dimensional for the price. Stupid plastic cork. Only a tiny bit of spritz, tons of lime-mineral zingy-zing. Spring water. Very fresh and gulpable, but also a bit "meh" in my memory.

Destined for simple summer enjoyment, the 11.5% txakolina induces expectations that are primarily light and lilting with a little differentiated aromatic/flavor profile as upside. This is a pale straw color, lightly spritzig on first pour, with a noticeable aroma of salinity and lipsmacking acid lift. It makes me desperately want a raw cherrystone clam, now. In the mouth it's a tease, razor sharp puckering lemon with only the tiniest reference to ripe citrus fruit, a big briny wave of saline …
