We shared this bottle with dear friends over lunch at Bistro Jeanty in Yountville on the last day of a fabulous weekend in Napa. The weekend featured phenomenal wines! We were in Napa for the Neal Family Vineyards 23rd Annual Cellar Depletion Party. From their website, "The annual Neal Family Cellar Depletion Dinner is held at the winery every May, and all proceeds raised are used to support local, college-bound scholars pursuing agriculture related studies." https://nealvineyards.com/23rd-annual-cellar-depletion-party-neal-family-scholarship-fundraiser/ The event was fabulous …

4 grape blend with Tempranillo being the highest at 34%. Very deep opaque eggplant color. Really nice, bold and full flavor. Smoke, ash, raspberry and crushed rock. Pretty high acidity. Nice tannic dryness but not over the top like I find many single varietal Tempranillos. Full bodied. About 92-93.

- Brick color - Aromas - dark fruit, cassis, earthy. Full body, good balance of acidity and smooth tannins. Flavors are blackberry, currants, licorice. Very interesting wine, I cant really distinguish the influences of the various grape varieties on the final character of this wine, but it definitely works.

Awesome wine for sure. An unusual mix of grapes but really good. Should get even better in the coming years

Black fruit fills your mouth, excellent tannins and spice, dry, full bodied and okay, to die for! Lots of layers and complexity, this is our first time tasting Cirque and we are glad we made the decision to buy this guy.

Decanted for several hours then returned to the bottle for several more. I found this wine to be only partially developed and too obviously so. There certainly is some pleasure to be had, but behind that is half the swallow idling in neutral. This is my second venture into the Paso 2014's, and I am convinced they are at least a couple of years away.

Tasting at the winery. Spanish inspired blend. 32% Tempranillo, 23% Mourvèdre , 23% Grenache, 22% Carignan. Black cherry, blueberry, tart, crisp, moderately tannic. Good now, better in 2-5 years, and finishes with really nice flavors of black cherry jam that resurfaces.
