Very food friendly. It complimented the Osso Buco we had for Christmas dinner. Garnet in color and beautifully balanced. Vino Noceto brings out the true expression of the grape.

Glad I caught this at this point, seems to getting milder on an already mild wine. Still very nice but time to go.

Second night, this has developed and blossomed, still think it is time to drink it up but it is exquisite.

Light but substantial, a cherry tea spice aroma, good acidity, and just a hint of stem in the finish. Quite nice. Today is day zero of the tariff madness. Out to the store get five pounds of Stravecco Parm, I made a Borlotti bean stew with basil sausage and plenty of mirepoix and a bit Parmesan rind. Hope things work out in the next few months, but there are goods wines to drink from California.

At winery. A little mushroom and red fruit. Nice texture on the palate, with a good balance of acid and tannin. Short finish, but good overall; would be good with food.

At 26 years of age, still in great shape but now fading. Brickish color, tho leaning more towards red than brown. Initially, nose shows some cardboard, which blows off to reveal soft Sangiovese fruit that continues into the taste. Had this wine possessed more acidity, it would be more vibrant. Drink now and enjoy!

Festa da Polenta with 9-Year Noceto Sangiovese Vertical Tasting (Steve and Annette Jones') : The 1996 had soft, subtle tannins but intense and complex cherry raisin flavors. The nose was port-like. Very earthy and flavorful.
