Carmel Sauvignon Blanc Vineyards

This is a nice enough Sauvignon Blanc that has great acidity and mineral notes, but does not have the entire package to keep up with the Yarden SB, or the Tzora Shoresh, or the Ella Valley SB, or the Flam Blanc. The nose on this wine is rich with mineral, floral notes, and citrus fruit. Light gold in color with on the nose lime, freshly cut grass and citrus blossom. Light to mdeium-bodied with on the palate citrus peels, grapefruit, parsil, gooseberries, minerals with nice acidity and bitter lemon zest on the moderate finish. Very well-made and austere wine, without the traditional tropical fruit profile usually found in many israeli Sauvignon Blanc.

Pale transparent shiny straw yellow Pleasant citrus mineral aroma Med bodied, citrus flavors, nice mineral & herbal notes. Light fruity finish.
