Yellow gold, less than medium legs which is not consistent with the 14+% ABV. Aromas are distinctively of tree fruit: apple and pear. Hints of oak, nutmeg and almond. Flavors are tree fruit dominant, definitely tart. Medium body and finish, bright texture. Impression: this Viognier is consistent with the no malolactic noted on the label. At $31, QPR is below average. A nice effort that has aged well. Drink now.
