Domaine Gardies, Glaciaires, Cotes du Roussillon

Really nice, quite fresh and crisp, but it's also rather dense and ripe, impressive stuff. Not particularly intense on the nose, but still complex, redolent of underripe pineapple, green apple, mangosteen, dried white currants, raw almond, lettuce, diverse subtle herbs, a little iris and petrichor... on the palate it is silky up front, then grippy and chalky, fruit skin nuances are quite engaging, but there's also a beautiful fresh juicy fruit character, it is quite engaging, and really comes alive …
