The nose is clean with medium + intensity, primary aromas of cranberry, ripe red plum, black currant, black cherry, preserved fruit, medicinal, lavendar, flint, liquorice. [and gingerbread!] Secondary aromas burnt toast, butter, charred wood, smoke. Tertiary aromas of tobacco, vegetal, forest floor, earth. The wine is developing.
