Dagernova Dernauer Klosterberg Spätburgunder trocken

Tasted at the cooperative in Dernau on 8 June 2014. Interesting to read XA's note, and I agree with him. The nose showed hints of stewy fruit, damp forest floor, and ores. Tastes like it smells, very good acid and some grip. Difficult to find a better Pinot Noir anywhere for the price.

Slightly lactic, not too simple or shallow, confected fruit, sweetish, not unattractive in its own way, hints of slate and sous-bois, floral, clean, just a hint of tannin, decent length.
