This bottle (my last of this vintage) was much more like my first bottle below, rather than my second, thankfully. Good stuff.

A bit oxidized this time out, in contrast to my last bottle.

Really enjoyed this last night. My experience matched Djjagdish's note rather than Disco's. Good stuff and glad I have more. In a really good spot right now.

Deep gold. Reticent on the nose at first, but eventually reveals pleasing baking spice and jonagold apple. Beautifully balanced between saline, sweet lychee, Bosc pear, and Meyer lemon. First from this producer, won’t be the last.

Color is a rust tinged yellow. Somewhat cloudy. I do not find the color to be all that pleasing. Nose is reminiscent of riesling, a heavy citrus salt blend. There is some berry that is distant. On palate, the wine is oddly kind of thick or congealed tasting. It begins with not much, seems like it could go somewhere good, then dissolves into a bitter, bad juicy juice kind of vibe.
