Looks smells and tastes like a Langhe Nebbiolo, but apparently is not. Transparent cranberry color, the palate is marked by cherry with a bit of VA and shoe polish. Firm tannins are present. Fun drink

REALLY pretty and fragrant, with solid structure and dark color for grignolino. High acid. Barely ripe strawberries/cherries are very fragrant and there's a nice light tannin that's essentially integrated, but astringent. Quite astringent on pnp, tbh. This needs air or food or masochism on pnp Smells amazing, tasty, quality, but nothing crazy. Bottle and hype/"story" might out-do the wine. On day two no improvement noted. Day three, nose dies down but wine becomes richer-- like strawberry jam. Delicious! Bumped up …
