The 11th hour…the latest possible moment – is when I am drinking this. Heard this winery is now permanently closed…? Deep garnet-purple colored with bricking at the rim - carrying intense bramble fruit on the nose with faint burnt rubber aromas. Full-bodied palate with a whack of dark fruit, aniseed & leather. Plenty of sediment in this one but moderate tannin, as a result. Has aged beautifully. 😊

Drank this with my ict mates at 1855. Surprising barnyard nose but it whirl off after a while. Red fruits had started to integrate well although there is still a bit of alcohol spike. Not too complex. Nice finish.

Served with Grilled blackened tuna - charred on the outside, rare on the inside. Wonderfully deep red fruits within strong tannic framework. Still on the upswing.

New Years Eve wine! A bit young but quite delicious with bright red fruits and a nice lingering finish. Will check back in tomorrow as it was PnP and continued to evolve throughout the evening.

Had with Dad @annual Take Ian to FMC trip in seedy OH hotel. Stunning as always…too young, though, needs more time sideways.

We committed Aussie infanticide by opening this 2010 bottle. Deep dark colour. Fruity nose. In the mouth, this was a fruit bomb. Sweet jammy flavours, strong alcohol. Harsh. With my recent acquisition of a Clef du Vin, it was time to test it out and see if the purported magic wine tool could slay this monster of a wine. 10seconds didn't change the wine much. But after dipping the Clef in for 30seconds, "magic" happened. The wine was significantly smoother …

Very fruit driven wine, but otherwise, not too complex. Straightforward, easy to drink, lots of sweet dark fruits, quite spicy, mouth-feel was not bad, hint of citrus, intense and rich wine, alcoholic finish. Too young to drink right now, still rather tannic.
