2018 Domaine Andre Lorentz Kirchberg de Barr Clos Zisser Monopole Pinot Gris was unctuous, honeyed and gently spiced. The youthful Alsatian Pinot Gris was clear and pale gold in colour without any sediments. The wine poured into the glass without splashing, reflecting its unusually high viscosity. Aromas of ripe red apple, quince and candied chestnut were followed by ginger, black pepper spices and crushed rock minerals.
